First Win

It’s been a few weeks since I released Limbical and “revealed” myself publicly as someone who suffers from panic attacks.

I always thought it was important for me to come forward and tell my story. I always suspected that there are many others out there who are also suffering in silence, and a big motivator to build Limbical, and especially the community feature, was to allow people to share their experience and see others’ experiences.

What I didn’t expect was that Limbical would help people I know, both close to me and not so close, talk about their experiences and struggles with anxiety attacks. My first big win with Limbical is creating a safe place for people I know to talk about panic attacks and anxiety.

How can we create a safe environment for people we care about to talk about panic attacks? If you consider that nine million people in this country are suffering from panic attacks, it’s likely that some of those people are close to us.

I’ll keep thinking about what I can do to make it easier for people.

What can you do?
